Q: How do you know what the best keywords are for my web site?
A: Betterlistings.com uses expert research combined with state of the art software technologies to determine which keywords will generate the most targeted traffic for your web site, products and services.

Q: How do I know what position I rank in the search engines?
A: We provide a customized email report to show your current keyword and search engine ranking positions monthly for six months. Betterlistings.com will continue to regularly monitor client's web site for the term of this agreement and billing will continue each month per web site. Web Ranking reports are created using Web Position software. We only report on search engines that are monitored by Web Position software.

Q: Will you insert my meta tags into my web site for me?
A: No. You are responsible for any changes to your web site that we recommend. If you require non-dynamic html assistance, the work will be provided and billed at a rate of $20 per hour.

Q: Do you use software to submit my web site?
A: No. All submissions are done by a BetterListings.com specialist from the appropriate online submission form according to the submission policies of each search engine or database.

Q. What about Yahoo, don't you register with them?
A. Yes, we can register with Yahoo, but they charge $300 per year for business submissions to their directory. Often times Yahoo will eventually pick up a listing from other search engines and add it to its directory, but to get any sort of high level placement on Yahoo, this $300 fee must be paid. This is not marked up in any way, if you went directly to Yahoo and registered your business you will pay $300 per year.

Q. Are any annual fees charged?
A. A portion of your initial setup fee pays for any applicable fees associated with registering your web site with subscription based search services for one year. You are responsible for your own renewal fees after the first year of our service.

A: Your web site will appear in search engines in as little as 48 hours of our submission of your web site. Inclusion times vary and some search engines may take up to six months to include your web site in their search results.

Q: Do you guarantee results?
A: Betterlistings.com offers a performance based guarantee. We guarantee that your web site will attain at least 5 top 50 listings for your keywords within a 6 month period of time. If your web site does not achieve the minimum number of listings that we guarantee, we will continue to work on your web site, free of charge, until such time as you do attain your listings. Most of our clients achieve more than the minimum number of listings that we guarantee.
